Uoyakutei Japanese Restaurant

My son and I decided to order food but weren't sure what we wanted. Since this was halfway home we landed here. Wow what a great turn of luck for us! The food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. We ordered yakatori, karaage, gyoza, California roll, and Philly roll. We are Japanese food novices so we just ordered based on suggestion. The karaage was an excellent surprise for a southerner with high standards for friend chicken. The rolls were very fresh. The yakatori was grilled perfectly but my son didn't care for the chives (but I think that's about him not the food). The gyoza were light and filling at the same time. Our food was ready right when they said it would be -- we were however early due to rare lighter than expected traffic on Hwy 1. We waited a few minutes on the bench and enjoyed their decor and Halloween decorations.

Very good food! They even called when they were out of one item, and replaced it with something very yummy. I live near the restaraunt and eat there often as well as order out. Their food stands out amongst other local sushi restaurants!

The sushi was delicious, the delivery fast. It was missing wasabi and the cheesecake was miniature. I would definitely order from them again, minus desert.

Delicious food with beautiful presentation! They even corrected my order with the special note I had, and made sure to let me know about it.
